Since our bold call to Canberra – “Wake up, Canberra: Ignoring eye health is costing Australians their sight” – Optometry Australia has continued to push hard for meaningful change to Medicare funding for eye care. Our message has been clear: reversing the 2014 Budget decision is vital to preventing avoidable vision loss in our communities.

Join the first-ever choir of Aussie optometrists!

Following the enormous success of We Are Here, Optometry Australia’s (OA) 2020 lockdown virtual choir, members are warmly invited to join the Optometry Australia Pub Choir. This first-ever (as far as we know!) choir of Aussie optometrists will debut at the Optometry Clinical Conference in Melbourne on 17-18 August.
